15/01/2017

January 14, 2017, Paris, France: A delegation of anti-Zionist Orthodox Jewish Rabbis is visiting Paris to offer their support to the peace initiative hosted by the French government. They will be demonstrating in front of the conference at 27 rue de la convention, 15th arrondissement at the Centre de Conference Ministeriel, Paris.
Neturei Karta leader, Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss stated:
“We want to emphasize that we hope this peace conference will be just a first step toward returning all of Palestine in its pre 1948 borders, enabling all of its people to live in safety and peace. Prior to the era of Zionism, Jews lived in Palestine in security, side by side with the Palestinian Arab population. This is our hope for the future.”
After the recent United Nations resolution condemning the State of Israel for expanding its settlements on Palestinian territory, the spokespeople of the State of Israel falsely accused world countries of being anti-Semitic. This is both untrue and an insult to us, as Jews who believe in justice in the Holy Land.
Rabbi Weiss continued, “We strongly ask the world community to stop conflating anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism. These terms are not the same, and the attacks against anti-Zionists need to stop.”
The delegation will also explain the Torah position that the West Bank is not the only illegally occupied territory. Jews have been sent into exile by the Almighty, and any kind of Jewish sovereignty over any territory is a violation of that decree. Therefore, the creation of the State of Israel itself was entirely illegitimate and forbidden. This crime was then further compounded by Israel’s occupation, subjugation and expulsion of another people.
